During ten years of managing my family’s restaurant, I saw a lot of areas that could have been potential disasters. There were many legal questions that I figured out on my own and often thought how helpful it would be to have some of my personal legal experience. I went back to school to get my paralegal degree and worked in both State and Federal Prosecuting Attorney offices. For seventeen great years, I truly enjoyed being a public servant.
When my husband and I created an all-natural food product that ultimately led us out to beautiful Northern California, I looked for a job that fit my talents for legal service and civic-mindedness. Working for Stokes Wagner is the perfect blend of my passion for service and legal background. Having started my career in the restaurant industry, juggling tasks and working under pressure are specialties for me. I always have had that hospitality fire inside, along with a sincere desire to help people.
When I’m not working, I love hiking, adventuring along the Sonoma Coast, and immersing myself in California cuisine, culture, and wine. We are fortunate to live in the heart of the Russian River Valley, where some spectacular wine is produced. My husband and I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures and farmer’s markets. We have a son and daughter who were both raised at a very young age in the hospitality industry and also love to eat and travel.
