Associate Attorney – Join Our Team at Stokes Wagner!
Location: Los Angeles, CA (with opportunities to work remotely)
Salary Range: $215,000 - $235,000 + Performance-Based Bonuses

Who We’re Looking For:
We’re searching for an Associate Attorney with 5 to 8 years of experience who’s passionate about employment law, eager to take on “first chair” opportunities, and excited to work directly with clients. You’ll report directly to the firm’s partners and be a key player in our Los Angeles office.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle all stages of litigation: pleadings, discovery, depositions, oral arguments, and trial/arbitration prep.
- Provide strategic counseling and advice on a wide range of labor and employment law issues, from discrimination and harassment to wage and hour matters.
- Conduct in-person trainings on various employment law subjects – if you’re interested in public speaking, this is your time to shine!
- Collaborate with a team that loves to brainstorm and innovate together.
- Be empowered to take lead and work with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Engage directly with clients who recognize and appreciate superior service.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in employment litigation.
- A robust understanding of employment law issues (bonus points for labor law experience or interest!).
- Experience with jury trials, depositions, and MSJs.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Active Member of the California State Bar and in good standing.
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited university.
- A collaborative spirit, a sense of humor, and an upbeat, can-do attitude.
- And most importantly – you should love being a lawyer!
